I love the Como Mamas ! I had the chance to discover them at Blues Rules Crissier Festival in May 2019 and was happy to see they would were later that year singing at Blues to Bop, among I few other artists that I was looking forward to see/hear again and a few others I wanted to discover.
I wouldn’t know exactly how to describe The Como Mamas, but it’s some sort of hypnotic gospel, with a minumum (but excellent) rythm section with Wallace Lester on drums and David Prather on guitar, with the Mamas singing their gospel on top of that. The best you can do is check out their videos or go to one of their concerts ! :-).
